Bill Miller is simply one of the best long term investors there has been for many years. Here is a link to his November 1, 2007 letter to the shareholders of Legg Mason's Value Trust. Bill Miller is better at looking ahead than most - sometimes to the detriment of being a bit early. But I have no doubt that there is a good bit of truth in his prediction that financials and housing will be some of the strongest performers over the next five years.
