UFO's OK, Policy Correspondence Is Not

Hillary Clinton was on the defensive at the last Democratic presidential debate because the Clintons will not release White House papers and correspondence involving Hillary Clinton during President Clinton's administration. It seems like an obvious request to see these papers and correspondence. After all, Hillary is claiming her participation in her husbands administration as on the job experience that makes her the best qualified and most experienced candidate.

Tim Russert came under withering attack by the loyal Clintonistas after the debate for his questioning of her on this matter and not letting her waffle on New York Governor Spitzer's ill conceived plan to give legal drivers licenses to illegal aliens. In fact, the Clinton camp has made threatening statements toward Wolf Blitzer who is scheduled to moderate the next Democratic debate. This is pure thuggery and Bill and Hillary should be ashamed of themselves. But Mr. Blitzer is no Tim Russert when it comes to asking tough questions. I don't think they have anything to worry about.

Now comes this story. The Clinton Presidential Library has just released, pursuant to a request under the Freedom of Information Act, records from the Clinton Administration pertaining to UFO's!

I guess seeing the Clinton administration's correspondence and deliberations on UFO's is less damaging to Hillary's presidential campaign than her involvement and correspondence regarding policy issues such as health care.

Now that is really funny.
